The Best Employers Award: Excellence in Health Care Value application is open each year between September - November. The 2026 online application will open on September 4, 2025 and close on November 14, 2025.

When the application period opens, interested parties can complete an online form to request an application link. First-time applicants must create a SurveyMonkey account to complete the application.

Each application is reviewed by Business Group on Health subject matter experts and senior leaders.

The application is relatively short with a mix of multiple choice and open-ended prompts. The application typically takes 5 – 8 hours to complete.

Best Employers Award: Excellence in Health Care Value spotlights employers excelling in value-based health care delivery and cost management. The application for this award includes a mix of multiple choice and open-ended questions.


Best Employers Award: Excellence in Health & Well-being honors organizations with a comprehensive, holistic approach to employee health and well-being beyond health care benefits. The application for this award is lengthier and also includes a mix of multiple choice and open-ended questions.


Each award celebrates your organization for leadership and innovation in advancing employee health, while recognizing a distinct area of excellence within the broader spectrum of workforce health strategy.
